Create a wcf service to get data

Hello,

Our organization has a need to create a survey to gather information from users. We have BizTalk 2010 enterprise installed and believe BizTalk has the ability to quickly generate a web service/wcf service so that other web sites could pass the data to our databases.

I have followed this tutorial http://rusteddev.wordpress.com/2010/07/19/expose-wcf-service-with-biztalk-2010-tutorial/ to test water and thing did not turn out well but I am not sure what I am missing. So far, I have been able to:

1) Create an BizTalk project using VS2010 with only an xsd called survey.xsd

2) Deploy the project to our BizTalk management console

3) Publish the BizTalk application to wcf using the wizard

4) Create a dedicate application pool for the wcf but I am not sure if I have to tie the app pool to my application and how to tell my wcf to use the pool.

5) Create Receive port, Receive location and a new send port. I do not know how to subscribe to the message from the receive port though and that is probably the reason why the test fails. I am using Basic-http as the tutorial suggested and no security for easy debugging.

I have followed the tutorial pretty closely but my knowledge about BizTalk is still very limited. This is the error web page I got when I tried to accesshttp://localhost/[WCF service description]/[WCF Service]: "Webpage could not be found". Any hint, pointer or suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Thanks!
