Hi All,
Our current production configuration for BizTalk 2009 is:
3 BizTalk App Servers
1 Active Sql Server with all the BizTalk databases
1 Passive Sql Server (that the Active one will failover, if there's any failure on that server)
But since the number of applications has now risen and BizTalk has to process more an more messages, we are now facing issues on the database server, sometimes it's CPU goes to 100% and it really halts BizTalk, it's already a 16 core server so it's configuration is quiet good at 128 GB memory also, so scale up isn't much of an option, We've now acquired a new DB server and plan to move only the MessageBox database from the current Active Server to that, since MsgBox is the most heavily used db we are hoping that'll improve the performance, has anyone else tried this configuration in their environment? and did it improve performance?
